Shareholders Deleted Scene
I thought Shareholders meeting was a great episode. I've enjoyed this season, albeit two episodes - Mafia & Double Date(maybe one more), the fact that they're focusing on storylines that are focused on Dunder Mifflin and not Jim & Pam is great. Thats what originally made the office great, you have this documentary on a failing midsize paper company with colourful characters and Jim/Pam was a hidden gem. Then the soap opera fanatics became fans of the show and the writers ended up focusing on that demographic and turned the show into crap.
Anyways, if you haven't been to a shareholders meeting...those crowds ARE real.

Episode Transcripts
I tend to quote the Office a lot and sometimes when I need to know how a certain line is delivered I'll have to rush over to my DVD's and find the episode and watch the scene. Its time consuming and annoying. So I've decided to create a blog that transcribes each episode.
Here's the link

I'm reminded of that scene from "The Client" where Michael calls Pam and asks her to find a good joke to tell

Ryans New Website
Here's a link to Ryan's new Photography Wesbite. I love the comments he has written under each picture.
Ryan is probably my favourite character, its a shame that he's not prominent in each episode as he was in s4, and the brief stint in Michael Scott Paper Co.

Link + Review
I'm just going to let you know that last nights episode of The Office - Double Date was a piece of shit. It wasn't funny. The episode went nowhere. Michaels character development has completely been forgotten and replaced with 'what can Michael do next that will be kinda funny'.
The only thing great about last nights episode was Ryan's passion for photography.
Kelly looks great in that pic, and not just because she's topless...its a very nice pic of her.
Next week I'm gonna provide a list of what the Office should include for future episode, what story lines it should resolve, and when they should set a date to end this show.

Here's a link to the episode for those who might have missed it
Overall, I thought the episode was ok. On a scale from 1 - 10 I would rate it a 6.5. I hope in future seasons they'll at least center a whole day around Halloween, instead of just for the cold opening.
Here's a list of what each character was for Halloween
Michael - JT/Adam Samburg SNL characters "D*ck in the box"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1gmbOAAXtA
Jim - 'Face'book
Pam - Rosemary from Rosemary's Baby
Dwight - Jigsaw from SAW
Ryan - Edward from Twighlight
Angela - Black Widow
Erin - Fiona from Shrek
Kevin - Paul Bart from Mall Cop
Oscar - Sarah Palin
Darell - Gangster Pumpkin
Meredith - Hobo
Phyllis - Witch
Kelly - Lilu from The Fifth Element
Stanly - Guy being electrocuted while doing crossword puzzle
Creed - Old School Vampire
Andy - Michael Jackson from the Thriller video
Didn't see Toby
Here's a deleted scene. Its the surveillance video of Michael falling into the Koi Pond
I thought it was an OK episode. I did enjoy watching the scenes with Michael & Jim, I'm hoping they will start to butt heads more now that they're co managers. The only character I'm getting sick of seeing is Pam, I pray to Zeus that once she's had the baby and is on maternity that they write the character off. I hope that the cameras won't follow her home when she's taking care of the baby.

I'm very sorry
I'm sorry I was unable to post links or reviews for the last two episodes of The Office. I've been very busy with my cousins wedding, and have not had the time to access a computer for 2 weeks. Rough, I know.
If anybody wants a link just let me know, until then I'll post a link for the next episode.

Deleted Scene from Mafia
Why the hell did they cut this storyline from last nights episode? Seriously, whoever is directing/editing these episodes needs to be taken to the town square and have rocks thrown at them, because they are fucking up The Office. Too many of these deleted scenes have been discarded, when they have been funnier than the whole episode. Often, this show forces the Jim/Pam storylines and cuts the quality material. I am gettin pissed off at this show. I hope Steve Carrell can get out while he still can, I see so much potential in him as an 'A list' actor, but if he continues with this series...it will drag his name through the mud.
Also, whoever is the actor who plays Kevin. Fucken hell, you've really fucked up with him. Dull/boring/monotone Kevin has always been better than the character you portray now, this new Kevin who was introduced during season 4 tries to hard to be funny has a whinny voice, its ridiculous. This show has made charicatures of their once beloved realistic characters. That's why the original version of The Office will be superior than yours, you should have ended the series at The Job.
Here is a deleted scene from Mafia, which involves a story line around Erin the new receptionist.
For some reason, I was able to view this...which normally doesn't happen because I live outside of the US
Hopefully you guys will be able to view it.

Mafia
Wow.
That was the biggest piece of shit ever. When comedy series try to incorporate Mafia plots into their show because they think that its cool and entertaining are wrong, it just becomes a cliched. Its the same shit with the sudden influx of Vampire related films/shows now on TV.
The only comedy series that has had success with the MAFIA, or La Cosa Nostra, has been The Simpsons.

Pam = Hypocrite?
Pam is such an unreliable character, I blame some of the lousy writers.
In the Booze Cruise episode Pam wouldn't marry Roy on the boat because she wanted her parents there, but she ran off with Jim to say their vows on the Maid of the Mist.
She stated that she used to fake illnesses to get out of Volleyball class in Gym, to emphasize how much of an Artsy type of gal she was...then at Company Picnic she's some Volleyball Allstar.

NBC buckling down to peer pressure
How stupid is this.
http://www.halpertbeesly.com/
They've made a website dedicated to these characters who have had their essence and souls squeezed out of them for a quick buck.
Ricky Gervais & Steven Merchant are probably outside in an alley throwing up
NBC focus on the quality of the writing for this show, not the cheap PR/Marketing, because this show will capsize before you know it.

Office News for the week
Here are a couple of interesting links provided by some viewers of the blog(yes I said viewers, I couldn't believe it at first either)
Here is a link of Jenna Fischer on the Jay Leno show
Also, someone emailed me these pictures, aparently they're some publicity idea for the show. Don Drapper would not approve, speaking of Don...anyone catch Mad Men last night?
These are just freaky and quite frankly make me feel uncomfortable...I would suggest that the person who came up with this idea be made redundant.

Tic. Toc.Tic. Toc. Review of episode 3
Hello empty room...room...oom..oom..om..mmm
I will need to add more content onto this site, clearly its not attracting viewers and followers.
Anyways, my review of last nights episode = The Promotion
I enjoyed last nights episode. It wasn't as funny as the previous seasons, but I did like where the story was going and hope that this co-manager arc continues throughout the season. Readers know how much I've despised previous seasons for wrapping up story lines too quick, even when it seemed that they had a lot of momentum to go for a couple of more episodes.
I enjoyed watching Jim struggle as a Co-Manager, they've made this character 'too perfect' in previous seasons that it was nice for him to be brought down a notch. The interactions with Michael and Jim were great, but I was hoping that they wouldn't become 'allies' so quickly. Jim realizes that Michael is the only one in the office whom he can consider a friend now, and will most likely go through the same things Michael has when he first became manager -- you can't be friends with your boss.
Click on the image to make it bigger
Here's Jim's pie graph of Michaels day to day performance at work...
Now, if I was to make one of Jim it would be something like this.
What else happened that is worth talking about...
Oh, did anybody catch Dwight's speech...kinda reminded me of the one Aaragon said in Lord of the Rings.
I thought the episode was decent, I'd give it a 6.5/10...it was great in story, but lacked anything remotely funny.
Creed had a great scene with Meredith, but it wasn't surprising that he hooked up with her...or that he forgot about it.

Preview - Episode 3 "The Promotion"
Here's a preview of an upcoming clip from the next episode...its a great clip(I'm really digging the new season, I hope it doesn't let me down)
Season 6 Episode 2 - The Meeting
The Office - Season 6 Episode 2 "The Meeting"
Directed by Randall Einhorn
Written by Aaron Shure
Cold Opening.
This is by far, one of the best cold openings for the show. It goes back to the awkward moments that happened during the beginning of the series...a lot of 'no he didn't', I love Oscars facial reactions during the questioning...ah man, it was perfect
This was Steve Carell at his finest. He's such a great actor, but for the last couple of seasons and the films that he's starred in, I've felt that they've held him back a little...kinda like the whole Eddie Murphy situation.
Steve Carell used to be like Eddie Murphy in RAW, but lately they've made him like Eddie Murphy in Daddy Day care...
The last 2 seasons of the Office, Michael's character went from 'Jerk of a Boss' to down right stupid but lets throw in a couple of sympathy moments to hook the audience...it was the Homer Simpson effect.
Anyways, I really was on Michael's side for this...I'm glad he didn't sugarcoat anything and spoke honestly about Jim and his potential at being a manager. We all know that Jim isn't manager material, the Jim fans beg to differ. But he commands no authority(except from Dwight), the other employees don't think much of him and when it was announced that he was a co-manager they didn't seem so pleased. Whats interesting is that Jim was offered another position at another company. He mentions this to Wallace as a form of leverage so that he could be promoted to Manager of Scranton. Josh from Stamford did the same thing, and I remember Jim being all pissy and had that talking head where he goes "Michael Scott wouldn't do a thing like that". I've noticed Jim is a pretty big hypocrite, last season there was a scene where Charles went to go shake hands with Wallace and Jim had that talking head where he was making those 'kissing sounds' to imply that Charles is a 'kiss ass'. Whats funny is that Jim has done the same bullshit, in fact he tried kissing Charles' ass...fucken hypocrite. Thats why I dislike the Jim character...I don't get all the love and admiration for him...he's not all that(even though he probably thinks differently). I'll end my rant off there.
Pam was checking off who was coming to the wedding. Now, here's my problem with this storyline...and I blame the writers. I enjoyed this episode with Pam, as she had some great scenes with Kelly, Ryan, Merredith & Angela. But my problem is, in the Cafe Disco episode...Jim & Pam decided they wanted to get married at City Hall, right before they left the office they took a peak at the cafe disco and loved the vibe and 'cheeziness' of it and wanted a wedding. Now Pam wants a wedding, but doesn't want anyone from Dunder Mifflin to attend...does anyone see the problem here? The reason they decided to go with the wedding was because of how much fun the employees were having at Cafe Disco, and that atmosphere changed her opinion...and now she's hoping the cause of that atmosphere to show up to her wedding...give me a break.
Lastly, Toby & Dwight...they need more story lines together. What would be great if they continue this bond, if Michael found about it somehow and was hurt over Dwight's friendship with Toby and tries to 'win' him back to his side. Anyways, the plot involving them and Darrel was classic...so many great scenes.
Dwight - We thought she was you.
Darrel - Why would you think a lady is me?
Dwight - Are you serious? Because you look exactly alike. (Turns to camera) Am I the only one seeing this?
--
Darrel - "And I'm gonna tell them(Corporate) that you guys sexually harassed my sister.
Dwight(looking at Darrels sister) - "No judge is going to believe that"
LOL. Classic.
Anyways, this was a great episode...the story plot is placed in business related...no more 'lets throw these guys in a weird place and see what zainy antics they come up with', it sets up a season where I believe there will be a rift between Jim and Michael(I hope Michael has the balls to stand up for himself, I hope the writers don't turn him into a cowering idiot when he's against Jim)
Solid 8.5/10 for me
I hope you guys enjoyed it.
S06E02 - The Meeting, Wow!

Entertainment Weekly - "JAM " on the cover
Entertainment Weekly wrote an article on Jim and Pam Wedding. Its a nice cover, but man...they went overboard with photoshop on Jenna Fischer. Now, I think Jenna is an attractive woman, but I hate when magazine go overboard with the editing and airbrush here & there to the max. She looks completely different, no wonder I'm less than thrilled when I've seen actresses up close...
Anyways, the article goes on to place JAM on that pedestal...seriously, they've become the most 'boringest' part of The Office. I was a fan of the courtship from s1 - s3. I cheered for Jim as he was the underdog and things weren't going for him 'love wise' as I've gone through the same thing(he was also less of a prick in the earlier seasons) and I felt that warm fuzzy feeling when he confessed his love for Pam at the end of Casino Night(what, maybe its because I'm a helpless romantic at heart). But now, its gone way too far. Their characters add nothing to the show. Once they were together, I knew their story arc would end up shit...the writers could 'play with fire' but they're too pussy to change things up as they know the massive JAM following would riot in front of their doorsteps. What's even worse is when the writers try to make us gush by showing how perfect they are as couple ...for fucksake, they've written these characters as if they're on Grays Anatomy.
I know a majority of the JAM supporters are women, and maybe that's why many of them love Jim...because he's a fucken pussy, and clearly has let Pam where the pants in their relationship. Now, I don't wanna come off as sexist, or misogynistic in anyway. Because I'm not. I was brought up by two strong women in my life (my Grandmother and Mother)...but I clearly feel the women who watch this show because of JAM have caused its decline in quality. If JAM fans didn't have that much influence, we would have seen some issues in Jim & Pam's relationship. If you don't believe me, check out this article.
This is how much clout JAM fans have...they were able to change a potential storyline. Here are some highlights from that article.
Originally, my character -- and I know this part to be true -- my character was supposed to be enamored of Pam. He was supposed to be a potential roadblock for Pam and Jim. What I understand happened, or at least it seems chronologically to make sense, was we shot the first two episodes. Before I shot my third episode where I had this big monologue where I was to profess my love to Pam, the first one aired.
The audience response to seeing Pam being even mildly flirtatious or being flirted with by some art-school guy ... the Internet exploded. People were like, "No, no no. We don't want more roadblocks for Pam and Jim. We just want to see them get together." And it was so big a response that when I showed up to do that final professing-of-love monologue, every bit of it had been changed. It was still the monologue, but it was about being in New York. Instead of "I love you," it was more, "Listen, you have all of these opportunities here. You're an artist. You need to follow your dream. You need to stay here."
-----
Anyways, back to the Entertainment Weekly Article...here's the link and a few highlights from the article on Jim & Pam
It’s about keeping this relationship as real as we can instead of making it a television romance,” explains Krasinski. “When you have two characters who are so perfect for each other, it’s a little weird for them to not get married. So you have to put that step in, whether it’s been done on television successfully before or not.” Adds exec producer Greg Daniels: “We didn’t want to do the soap opera-y thing and cheapen it. Besides, our ratings keep going up, so I don’t think anyone minds them being together.”

The Emmy's
Just watched the Emmy's(Nothing else on. Plus I can't find the remote and couldn't be bothered to search for it or get up and change the channel)
Anyways, just wanted to report Office/Emmy related news.
Unfortunately Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, nor The Office won any awards in their respective categories, however Jeffrey Blitz who directed Stress Relief won an award for Best Director in a Comedy Series.
Ricky Gervais (creator of The Office) was there to present an award for the show...he was great, but it wasn't as good as what he had said last year.

The Office Season 6 Premier - Gossip
BACK IN SCRANTON! The Office season 6 premier was great, which is a relief because I've been having doubts on continuing to watch this series. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, I'm not sure if its because the writing has improved or is it because I've lowered my expectation greatly. Ah well, thats just my opinion and hopefully some of my fellow Dundermiflinites will share their thoughts and opinion on last nights episode.
I loved the cold opening.
Parkour! It was great to see Michael, Dwight and Andy perform(at least try to attempt to) those hardcore stunts. I love how out of shape these middle aged men with hearts of children are. One area where I think they should have edited was the last portion when Andy fell into the empty box, it was too predictable. One can guess right away whats going to happen, they should have edited out the portion of him explaining the next move on the roof, if they had let the parkour stunts scenes roll one after another...the roof scene would have been less predictable.
The rest of the episode dealt with gossip being spread around The Office by Michael which he hears from an intern. I am getting sick of the characters on this show having affairs, as that storyline has been milked in other TV series as well as this one(Angela Affair). But the results of Michaels gossip spreading was delightful, I loved the rumors he made about Dwight.
Dwight - You told people that I use store bought manure...when I showed you where my manure comes from, hmm?
Steve Carell was great in this episode. I love how well he can portray Michael as the insecure buffoon. Michael is so juvenile in this episode that it brings up great lines like "If no one tells me I'm gonna scream!" Whats great about this episode is that it features the entire cast, pretty much every character had a line except Ryan. It would have been great if the episode could have been longer, as I thought the interactions between everyone would have generated more hilarious bits. Creed gives us another few seconds of classic creed moments
"Whose the OBGYN?"
"If I can't scuba, then what is this all about? What have I been working toward?"
I thought the intern feature was fresh for this show(but will most likely be dropped which is a shame I love new characters(usually normal) being thrown into the crazy Office environment. Although it would have been great to have some scenes with Ryan and the Interns. He could have been like one of those experienced combat vets who discusses the horrors of war(but in The Office). A temp that could have had some bond with the interns...he was once them. But I guess the reason why there was a lack of Ryan scenes was due to the filming of Inglorious Basterds (BJ NOVAK was apart of).
Lastly, Jim and Pam have a couple of new boring scenes...since they got together in season 4, their characters have become very bland. When are they going to stir up some controversy between these two, we get it Jim and Pam are in love, but thats not reality. No one is happy in America, in love, marriage, work, etc. The writers of this show don't have the balls to do anything that will upset the legion of JAM fans. Which is a shame, as this show used to push the boundaries like the original UK Version.
I would like to hear your opinion on the matter.

Some Spoilers for the upcoming season
I've been reading up on a few entertainment sites that have been informing readers about potential plot elements, spoilers and other juicy gossip for the upcoming season of 'THE OFFICE'
If you don't want to be spoiled, I suggest you stop reading...................now
Michael Scott - Ugh! Spoiler Alert
This season we will be invited for the wedding of the year, the one we've all been waiting for...Jim and Pam's Wedding. It will be shown during the forth and fifth episode, apparently Jim and Pam are having the wedding in Niagra Falls, in hopes that none of their fellow DM employees will bother to show up.
Seems quite contradictory, since the only reason they're having a wedding was due to the Cafe Disco episode. They seemed to be having a ball of a time with their fellow employees...
Michael will be upset with Jim after he finds out that Jimbo had a meeting with David Wallace CFO(Not his initials, by the way)
Dwight and Tobey will team up together to investigate the workers comp claim by Darryl.
Somebody in the office will be caught having an affair, and it won't be Angela(taken the slow train from Philly)
This season will have Andy question his sexuality...who knows, he make hook up with Oscar and then we'll have the "Oscy" or 'Andcar' shippers.
As Pam was the focus of last season, its now time for the season to start focusing more on Jim

Company Picnic
Company Picnic
Originally aired: May 14, 2009
Summary
Michael reconnects with Holly at the company picnic and the two accidentally reveal that a regional office of Dunder Mifflin is to be shut down. Pam and Jim receive some exciting news.
Background Production/Notes
Company Picnic was the 100th episode of The Office(US), it was written by Paul Lieberstein(who plays Tobey) and Jennifer Celotta(The Duel) and directed by Ken Kwapis(whose other directorial work include 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants', 'License to Wed', and 'He's just not that into you'). Greg Daniels(developer of The Office US) has stated that he was proud that the series made it to a 100th episode.
Daniels said, "I remember interviewing with Ricky Gervais and Steven Merchant(creators of the original Office, and Extras), seven years ago, and this (100th episode) was certainly the goal, so I'm very pleased that we got to 100 episodes in a strong fashion. I think the show is in a very good place right now.
Whats also interesting is that the hospital that Jim and Pam went to may look familiar to some viewers, as it was the set used on another hit NBC show --Scrubs.
Review
Personally I did not enjoy this episode and felt that it was the weakest finale for the show. The episode was predictable in every sense, Michael and Holly's sketch wasn't funny...which is a shame as I felt these two characters have had memorable moments in previous episodes.
I did not like the fact that the show hints of a reconciliation between Dwight and Angela, its not shown but a subtle eye glance between the two can be seen and the viewer can easily guess that these two will be back together. As much as I loved this quirky pair in previous seasons, this arc starts treading on the Ross/Rachel relationship.
I feel that the writers were afraid to take chances with this show this season, I dunno if its because Gregg Daniels has left to work on Parks and Rec, but the shows governance isn't working. Whoever is at the helm of this ship is moving it into a wrong direction, which will ultimately lead to the demise of this once great show.
